Online DOCX to CDR Conversion

Convert DOCX files to CDR online

How to Convert DOCX into CDR

DOCX files are Microsoft Word documents containing text, tables, and images. CorelDRAW cannot open DOCX files directly, so the process involves exporting the Word content into a format CorelDRAW can import, then saving as CDR.

1. Export DOCX as PDF or Image

  • Open the DOCX file in Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer.
  • Check formatting, fonts, and layout.
  • Export or save the document as PDF or PNG for CorelDRAW compatibility.

2. Import into CorelDRAW

Once you have a PDF or image:

  • Open CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and select the exported file.
  • Place it on the canvas and adjust layout or scale.
  • Save the project as .cdr.

3. Convert to Editable Vector (Optional)

If you want editable graphics instead of just embedded text or images:

  • Select imported images in CorelDRAW.
  • Use Bitmap → Outline Trace to convert into vector objects.
  • Edit fonts, shapes, and graphics as needed.
  • Save the updated file as CDR.

4. Online Conversion Method

If Word or CorelDRAW is unavailable:

  • Upload the DOCX file to products.conholdate.app.
  • Convert it to PDF or SVG.
  • Download and open the file in CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr for editing.

⚠️ Important:
DOCX is a text document format. To make content fully editable as vector objects in CorelDRAW, consider tracing graphics or re-creating tables after importing PDF or SVG versions.
