Online DXF to CDR Conversion

Convert DXF to CDR online

How to convert DXF to CDR

Converting DXF → CDR can be done with CorelDRAW, because CorelDRAW has native DXF import support. Here’s how you can do it depending on your tools:

1. CorelDRAW (best & direct way)

  • Open CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import.
  • Select your .dxf file (CorelDRAW will ask about units, scaling, and whether to combine or separate layers).
  • Once imported, go to File → Save As → CDR.

2. If CorelDRAW has trouble reading DXF

Sometimes DXF files are versioned differently (R12, 2000, 2010, etc.). If CorelDRAW won’t import:

  • Open the DXF in AutoCAD, LibreCAD, or QCAD.
  • Re-save/export it as an older DXF (e.g., R12 ASCII).
  • Try importing again into CorelDRAW.

3. Using Online Tools

You can use products.conholdate.app:

  • Convert DXF → PDF (DXF to PDF tool).
  • Then open the PDF in CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr.
  • Or convert DXF → SVG, then import SVG into CorelDRAW.

4. Open-source route

If you don’t have CorelDRAW yet:

  • Open DXF in Inkscape or LibreCAD.
  • Save/export as SVG/EPS.
  • Open that in CorelDRAW → Save as CDR.

⚠️ Best workflow: DXF → (direct import) → CorelDRAW → Save as CDR
