Online EPS to CDR Conversion

Convert EPS files to CDR online

How to Convert EPS to CDR

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) is a common vector file format supported by many design programs, including CorelDRAW. Converting EPS to CDR is usually straightforward because CorelDRAW can open EPS files directly and save them as CDR.

1. Import EPS into CorelDRAW

  • Launch CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and select your EPS file.
  • Place the file on the canvas.
  • Edit if necessary, then save as .cdr.

2. Ensure Proper Text and Color Handling

Sometimes EPS files include embedded fonts or complex colors:

  • If fonts are missing, replace them with available fonts or convert text to curves.
  • Check gradients and fills after import.
  • Save finalized artwork as CDR.

3. Convert Using Online Tools

If CorelDRAW is unavailable, use products.conholdate.app:

  • First, convert EPS → SVG (EPS to SVG tool).
  • Download the SVG file.
  • Open the SVG in CorelDRAW.
  • Save it as CDR.

4. Free Alternative via Inkscape

You can also use Inkscape:

  • Open the EPS file in Inkscape.
  • Go to File → Save As and choose SVG or PDF.
  • Open that file in CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr.

⚠️ Note:
EPS files with advanced PostScript effects may not import perfectly in CorelDRAW. For best compatibility, consider converting EPS → PDF or SVG before opening in CorelDRAW.
