Online EXCEL to CDR Conversion

Convert EXCEL to CDR online

How to convert Excel to CDR

Since CDR is proprietary, there isn’t a direct “Excel → CDR” converter, but here are the practical workflows:

1. Direct Copy-Paste (Quick Method in CorelDRAW)

This works best for charts, tables, or formatted data you need as graphics.

  • Open your Excel file.
  • Select the table, chart, or data you want.
  • Copy (Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (MacOS)).
  • In CorelDRAW, choose Edit → Paste Special → Picture (Metafile/Enhanced Metafile).
  • Now it’s imported as a vector/graphic object.
  • Save as .cdr.

2. Save as PDF First

This method preserves formatting better than copy-paste.

  • In Excel → File → Save As → PDF.
  • Open the PDF in CorelDRAW (File → Open).
  • CorelDRAW converts it into editable objects.
  • Save as .cdr.

3. Save as SVG/EMF

  • In Excel, export charts as SVG (if using Office 365).
  • Or copy → paste as Enhanced Metafile (EMF) into CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr.

4. Using Online Tools

On products.conholdate.app:

  • Convert Excel → PDF (Excel to PDF tool).
  • Then open PDF in CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr.

⚠️ Best workflow:
Excel → PDF → CorelDRAW → Save as CDR (for full sheets, reports, or large formatted data).

For charts/tables only:
Copy from Excel → Paste Special into CorelDRAW → Save as CDR.
