How to Convert HTML into CDR

HTML is a markup language for web pages (text, images, styles). CorelDRAW is a 2D design application that works with vector and bitmap assets. There’s no single-button HTML→CDR conversion — you export or capture the HTML content into a CorelDRAW-friendly format (PDF, SVG, or images) and then import it into CorelDRAW to save as .cdr.

1. Save the Web Page as PDF

  • Open the HTML page in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
  • Choose Print → Save as PDF (or File → Print → Save as PDF).
  • Adjust page size and margins, then save the PDF.
  • Open the PDF in CorelDRAW and save as CDR after any edits.

2. Export Important Graphics as SVG

For vector elements (icons, charts, SVG images) preserve vectors:

  • Locate inline or linked SVGs in the page (view source or inspect element).
  • Save those SVG files directly.
  • Import the SVGs into CorelDRAW for crisp, editable vectors.
  • Combine imported SVGs and layout in CorelDRAW, then save as .cdr.

3. Capture Text and Layout for Design

If you need the page layout and styled text:

  • Copy text from the page and paste into CorelDRAW (Edit → Paste Text) or into a text editor then import.
  • Screenshot page areas as high-resolution images (PNG) if needed.
  • Import images into CorelDRAW and use Bitmap → Outline Trace for vectorization when appropriate.
  • Arrange text and images, style fonts, and export as CDR.

4. Use an Online Conversion Service

If you prefer automated conversion, prepare the HTML for upload:

  • Zip the HTML and its assets (images, CSS, SVGs) into an archive.
  • Upload to products.conholdate.app and convert to PDF or SVG.
  • Download the converted PDF/SVG and import into CorelDRAW.
  • Finalize and save as .cdr.

⚠️ Important:
HTML is not a native graphics format — conversion is a two-step process: capture the page as PDF/SVG or images, then import into CorelDRAW. For best results keep SVGs and fonts where possible to preserve editability.
