Online JPEG to CDR Conversion

Convert JPEG to CDR online

How to convert JPEG to CDR

Converting JPEG → CDR is basically going from a raster image (bitmap) to CorelDRAW’s vector format. Since JPEG is not vector, there’s no “true” direct conversion — but you can import and then trace it in CorelDRAW.

1. Import JPEG into CorelDRAW

  • Open CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and choose your .jpeg.
  • Place it on the canvas.
  • If you just need the image inside a .cdr file → simply Save As → CDR.

2. Convert JPEG to Editable Vector in CorelDRAW

If you need vector graphics (lines, curves, scalable shapes):

  • Import the JPEG.
  • Select it → Go to Bitmap → Outline Trace → (Choose mode: Logo, Clipart, Detailed, etc.).
  • CorelDRAW will auto-trace the raster and create vector objects.
  • Edit as needed → Save as .cdr.

4. Open-source Alternative

If you don’t have CorelDRAW:

  • Use Inkscape → Open JPEG → Path → Trace Bitmap → Save as SVG.
  • Import SVG into CorelDRAW → Save as CDR.

⚠️ Important:
If you just want the JPEG embedded inside CDR → import and save.
If you need real vectors → use Corel’s Trace Bitmap or convert JPEG → SVG first.
