How to convert PDF to CDR
Converting PDF → CDR (CorelDRAW file format) isn’t straightforward because CDR is a proprietary format, but there are a few ways you can do it depending on what you need:
1. Using CorelDRAW
- Open CorelDRAW.
- Go to File → Open and select your PDF.
- CorelDRAW will parse the PDF and import it as editable vector objects.
- Save/export as .cdr.
2. Using Free Online Tools
You can try Conholdate Free Apps for conversion. If direct conversion isn’t available, convert PDF → SVG/EPS/AI → then open in CorelDRAW and re-save as CDR.
- Convert PDF → SVG via free tool.
- Open SVG in CorelDRAW.
- Save as .cdr.
3. Inkscape (open-source alternative)
- Install Inkscape.
- Open your PDF file in Inkscape.
- Save/Export as SVG or EPS.
- Import into CorelDRAW and then save as .cdr.
⚠️ Direct PDF → CDR conversion without CorelDRAW is rare because CDR is proprietary. The safest workflow is: PDF → CorelDRAW → CDR
