Online Photoshop to CDR Conversion

Convert Photoshop files to CDR online

How to Convert Photoshop Files into CDR

Photoshop files (PSD or PSB) contain layers, effects, and raster graphics. CorelDRAW cannot open them directly as editable layers, but you can import them and either keep them as bitmaps or trace them to vectors for scalable designs.

1. Open PSD/PSB in CorelDRAW

  • Launch CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and select your .psd or .psb file.
  • Place the image on the canvas.
  • You can edit text and vector layers if CorelDRAW supports them; raster layers remain as images.

2. Convert Raster Layers to Vector (Optional)

For scalable graphics:

  • Select the raster image layers.
  • Go to Bitmap → Outline Trace and choose an appropriate tracing mode (Detailed, Clipart, Logo, etc.).
  • CorelDRAW will generate vector objects from the raster data.
  • Adjust vectors as needed and save the file as .cdr.

3. Online Conversion Workflow

If you don’t have CorelDRAW installed:

  • Upload the PSD/PSB file to products.conholdate.app.
  • Convert it to SVG or PDF.
  • Download the converted file.
  • Open in CorelDRAW and save as .cdr.

4. Alternative Free Tools

Using free software like GIMP:

  • Open the PSD/PSB file in GIMP.
  • Export as PNG or TIFF if you just want raster content, or as SVG if traced with a plugin.
  • Import the exported file into CorelDRAW.
  • Save the project as .cdr.

⚠️ Important:
Photoshop files are primarily raster-based. For editable vectors in CorelDRAW, use Outline Trace or convert layers to SVG before importing.
