Online TIFF to CDR Conversion

Convert TIFF files to CDR online

How to Convert TIFF to CDR

TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) is a high-quality raster format often used in printing and publishing. Since TIFF is not vector-based, there is no direct one-click conversion to CDR. Instead, you can import TIFF images into CorelDRAW and optionally trace them to create editable vector graphics.

1. Import TIFF into CorelDRAW

  • Open CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and choose your .tif or .tiff file.
  • Place the image on the canvas.
  • If you just need the image embedded in a CDR, simply save the project as .cdr.

2. Convert TIFF to Vector in CorelDRAW

If you need scalable, editable graphics:

  • Select the imported TIFF image.
  • Go to Bitmap → Outline Trace and pick the mode (Logo, Detailed, Clipart, etc.).
  • CorelDRAW will generate vector paths from the raster image.
  • Tweak the result as needed and save as .cdr.

3. Online Conversion Method

If you don’t want to trace manually, try products.conholdate.app:

  • Convert TIFF → SVG (TIFF to SVG tool).
  • Download the resulting SVG file.
  • Open it in CorelDRAW.
  • Save as .cdr.

4. Alternative with Free Tools

Another option is Inkscape:

  • Open the TIFF image in Inkscape.
  • Use Path → Trace Bitmap to generate vector paths.
  • Save as SVG or PDF.
  • Import into CorelDRAW and save as .cdr.

⚠️ Important:
If you just want to include a TIFF image inside a CDR file, simply import and save.
For true vector editing, use CorelDRAW’s Trace Bitmap feature or convert TIFF to SVG before importing.
