Online Visio to CDR Conversion

Convert Visio files to CDR online

How to Convert Visio Files into CDR

Visio files (VSD/VSDX) contain diagrams, flowcharts, and vector graphics. CorelDRAW cannot open Visio files directly, so conversion involves exporting the Visio content to a format CorelDRAW can import, such as PDF or SVG.

1. Export Visio to PDF or SVG

  • Open your VSD/VSDX file in Microsoft Visio.
  • Check the layout, shapes, and colors.
  • Go to File → Save As → PDF or File → Export → SVG.
  • Ensure all pages and elements are included.

2. Import into CorelDRAW

Once exported:

  • Open CorelDRAW.
  • Go to File → Import and select the PDF or SVG file.
  • Place it on the canvas and adjust scale, positioning, or colors.
  • Save as .cdr.

3. Convert to Editable Vector (Optional)

To make diagrams fully editable in CorelDRAW:

  • Select imported objects.
  • Use CorelDRAW’s vector tools to ungroup, adjust nodes, and edit paths as needed.
  • Save the file as CDR for ongoing editing.

4. Online Conversion via Conholdate

If you don’t have Visio or CorelDRAW installed:

  • Upload your Visio file to products.conholdate.app.
  • Convert it to PDF or SVG format.
  • Download and open the converted file in CorelDRAW.
  • Save the project as .cdr.

⚠️ Important:
Visio is a diagramming format. For editable graphics in CorelDRAW, convert to SVG or PDF first, then refine vector objects inside CDR.
